This kit is a new, 1st generation Swytch kit-opened box-never installed on a bike.
This is a pedal assist conversion kit. There are 5 levels of assist which can be adjusted on the top of the battery pack. You can choose the level you are comfortable with. The max speed is 15mph. An optional throttle can be purchased on the Swytchbike website. More information is also available on that site.
