We have a few extra Midget White Turkey poults available for purchase for $25 each. They are a flock animal so they must be purchased as a small group of six for their best growth and happiness. These turkeys are difficult to locate and you can often lose some from the stress of shipping, which makes purchasing these 2 months old birds that have grown past the delicate stage an advantage for you. A group of six would cost you $150 and provide your farm with wonderful meat and birds that manage their own reproduction. Our birds are raised as naturally as possible and not given medications or hormones.

Midget White Turkeys are a beautiful, small version of the broad breasted turkey. When grown, Toms can weigh in at about 14 lbs and the hens at about 10-12 lbs. These are slow growers and are wonderful for a homestead or small farm situation where you would like your birds to reproduce on their own and forage for some of their food. They are also friendly and get along well with our chickens and ducks. Our adult Toms watch over the young turkeys as they free range our fields when conditions are possible.

Please make sure you have an appropriate area for these beautiful birds to thrive. We recommend feeding a minimum 24 percent crumble for the chicks, although we prefer a 28% organic crumble. After they are older, we slowly transition to a mix of crumbles and 20 percent pellets mixed with organic wheat, corn, and kelp along with their foraging. Our birds are secured in pens for the night to keep them safe from predators.
