I have many species (Maple, Beech, Yellow Birch, Black walnut, butternut, Ash, red cedar, white cedar, Hickory, Cherry, White Birch, - to name a few species) of live edge slabs. Some are LE both edges. Many are LE on one edge and straight on the other to put against a wall etc. All my live edge lumber is Air Dried only (AD). I do have KD lumber in square boards also. Most are planed to nothing less than 3/4" thick. Widths and lengths are various.
Prices:
My prices are based on the board footage of each piece and that price varies with Size (size does matter) species value, figure/character etc. My prices range from $2.00 - $6.00 generally--a few pieces might be more. So, for example, an 8"x 96" sugar maple "plain Jane" would go for: $3.00 x 5.3' = $16.00. A nicely spalted Sugar Maple might go for double that price. Aspen slabs go for 2.00 or less.
I have accumulated a fair amount of spalted slabs. A recent inventory of all live edge lumber, showed over 400 slabs. slabs.
