Plastics QC Product Specialist – Erie, PA 
💰 Pay: $20/hr | 🕒 Shifts: Days, Afternoons & Nights 

Our client, a leader in plastics manufacturing, is seeking a Plastics QC Product Specialist to join their Quality Assurance team. This role ensures parts meet customer specifications through detailed inspections and accurate documentation. 

📌 Key Responsibilities: 

• Measure QIP dimensions using metrology equipment; complete required documentation 

• Audit production parts from injection molding machines for visual defects during and after production 

• Perform and approve final audits of packaged parts 

• Record production notes and discrepancies on DPR (Daily Production Report) 

• Follow nonconformance procedures for defective products 

• Conduct startup, SPC, and shutdown inspections (visual & dimensional) 

• Communicate quality issues to Quality Supervisor; provide defect analysis/photos for VDG updates 

• Initiate/update PNRs and other containment actions 

• Maintain sample retain cabinets and quality documentation 

• Participate in dimensional studies and Gage R&R’s 

📌 Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task 

• Math skills & ability to read blueprints 

• Injection molding/plastics QC experience preferred (OGP experience a plus) 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office & general computer use 

• Problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
